Paloma Casile: A graduate of the venerable Esmod University in Paris, Paloma Casile worked at luxury French lingerie brands like Chantal Thomass and Cadolle before starting her own line of corsetry using traditional French techniques in 2012. Casile works with the finest European fabrics like Calais lace and Lyon silk and satin to ensure each piece of lingerie highlights the body and makes the wearer feel both sexy and comfortable.

Annelise Michelson: Esmod-educated, Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture trained, and a veteran of fashion labels like Hermès and Vanessa Bruno, jewelry designer Annelise Michelson’s first big break came when Carine Roitfeld commissioned her for accessories and statement jewelry in 2012. Soon came her ‘Carnivore’ collection of bracelets, ear cuffs, necklaces, and rings which were immediately loved and worn by celebs like Rihanna and Lady Gaga. All her pieces are handmade in her atelier in Marais or with her small group of artisans in Paris using only 100% French materials.

Etienne Deroeux: When you manage to snag the eternal cool girl Erin Wasson as the face of your Spring 2016 campaign, you know you’re onto something. Etienne Deoeux launched his label in 2011 with a keen interest in sportswear’s form and function. He subtly works in clean architectural lines with natural fibers and offers his customer elegant and luxurious sportswear-inspired pieces that are also sensual and raw.

L’Officine Universelle Buly: Technically not a new brand unless you consider 1803 new. That was the year the store known as Buly was founded by Jean Vincent Buly on Rue Bonaparte in Paris. Then in 2014, a man named Ramdane Touhami, who is also behind the rebranding of Cire Trudon, decided to bring the store back to life and worked with its catalogue of secret recipes for all things beauty - perfume, toothpaste, nail vanish and all sorts of exotic-smelling skin care. Under his direction, it’s now a mecca for all things exquisite and beautiful.
